The process of a novel making it’s way into being a movie is long and sometimes complicated. But we seem to be moving right along. Things are going great in PA movie news, and I hope to have stuff I can share with you soon, but take my word for it — the project is looking great! I appreciate everyone who has liked and followed (do both!) our Facebook movie page. So, here’s the deal. I’m not sure you know how critical that page is to our eventual success. The fan fiction, fan art, and fan support of Pennsylvania are some of the reasons the movie has gotten to this stage. I hope to share a lot of that great fan work over the next month, and I’ll do some right in this post.

Keeping the fire burning is both fun, and a constant work… like gardening. We’ve had so much support over the years, and over 100,000 of you have purchased and read Pennsylvania stories! I’d like to have 1,000 like/follows to the PA Facebook movie page before we make our big announcement, and to do that I need your help. Here’s what you can do… please share the page on your social media, but do add a personal comment so people understand why you are sharing it. Maybe tell people about your connection to the Pennsylvania story and to me. We all like to be involved with something BEFORE it gets hot and in the mainstream, so let’s share that opportunity with everyone.

The time will come, probably very soon, when we’ll be seeing a lot of new fans come along who haven’t experienced the 3 1/2 years of waiting, so you can tell people why you love the story and why you want to see the film get made. Anyway, we have a month or so to get that page up to 1,000 likes (that’s an arbitrary number I picked out because I think it indicates that there are way more than 1,000 fans out there… not everyone likes to follow things on Facebook!) Help us and share and tell the story. So please go to the Facebook Movie page and like AND follow it!
