I’ve been very excited about this. For the last few weeks I’ve told you not to buy this book. That is a hard thing to do and really mean it. And you’ve done well. Even though the e-book has been available for Kindle for a week, as of tonight, only 9 people have bought it. Admirable!
The reason I told you not to buy it, is because I’d rather give it to you for free when you buy the paperback. So I priced the paperback as cheap as I possible could for a full novel length book. Only $11.99, and then you get the Kindle version for FREE when you buy the paperback. That was why I told you not to buy it. I want more new people to read it, and the way to do that is to give you two books for one cheap price. Keep the Kindle, and give the paperback away! Or buy two paperbacks and give one as a gift. Either way.
This is a book I am well pleased with. If you know me, you know I live with books around me. Books like this. I love short story anthologies, and I keep them around me at all times. I have anthologies from Jack Finney, Tolstoy, Solzhenitsyn, Bunin, Hemingway, and many others. I keep them on my bedside table, next to my chair at my office, anywhere I am. Because I love to pull up an old favorite and read it over and over again. I think you will too, and I think this book will be that kind of treasure for you. So now is the time. Buy the paperback now, and with Kindle’s matchbook, you’ll get the Kindle version for free!
One other thing. If you want a signed book, I still have 8 more copies from the very first ever printing that haven’t been sold. But no matter, if you order the signed version, you won’t get a free kindle version from Amazon, but you will get a signed first edition.
Time to stock up on gifts, and this is a great price for something you know people will love.
Thanks!
Michael Bunker
