Growing Up Agrarian

We are four Christian, homechurched, homeschooled, homesteading, agrarian children growing up in Central Texas on a Ranch. We are Tracy,(15) Jennifer,(10) Robert,(9) and Sarah(5) Bunker. We also have one more brother, Thomas Shepard Bunker, who is in the courts of glory. We like to read books, raise animals, and play on the land. Tracy will be writing about the stuff we do. We hope you enjoy our Adventures!

A little late posting...

**From March 25...

Hello all,

This morning we had a wonderful breakfast of pancakes and bacon. After our chores were done, we had fellowship with the community. We love to sing!

For lunch we had smoked brisket, green bean cassarole, salad, cheddar mashed potatoes, and corn with chopped chilies. For dessert we had german chocolate cake and chocolate chip cookies. Yum!

We are having a restful Sunday and are enjoying a steady rain. Still looking forward to Ranchfest next weekend! Lots of cleaning and preparing to do this weekend.

Well so long for now!

Passover Play

Hello!
Today we had Wheat Bran Cereal with Longhorn milk for breakfast. Yum!

We are working on a Passover play for April 1st. Yesterday we made costumes out of some of Tracy's old fabric scraps. We also made a cool crown for Pharoh out of tin foil. We had fun doing that. Here are all of our parts:
Robert - Pharoh
Noah - Moses
Tracy - Overseer/ Director
Jennifer - Slave 1/ Burning bush
Seth - Slave 2
Sarah - Slave 3

We invited all of the adults and we will be selling lemonade and cookies. We even made posters and are selling tickets. A ticket now is 75 cents or you can buy them at the show for $1.00. If you buy 2 tickets you get 1 free cookie and if you buy 3 tickets and you get a free lemonade. Last year we had a Purim Play and it was fun.

We are looking forward to Ranchfest. It is always great to meet new people and fellowship with old friends.

Well, there are a lot of chores to do before the Sabbath tomorrow. Vacuming and cleaning and dusting and wiping.........

Good day and God bless!!

Poem

Hello,
Daddy and Robert went fishing this morning, but they did not get any fish. The girls stayed home, and did school until the boys got home. Tracy wrote a poem and would like to share it with you:

Good morning this day,
Today I am going to pray
Lord, thanks for life
I don't know what I'd do
If I didn't have You!

You saved me from death
You gave me Your breath
I don't know what I'd do
If I didn't have You!

If I didn't have You
I would suffer and die
But You died for me
You died to set me free!

I didn't have a choice
I didn't have a voice
But You did what you do
So I can live with You!

I have life eternal
And praise you I shall
You gave me bread
And a place to lay my head

I pray on my knees tonight
Lord, give me Your light
Make my blind eyes see
What You gave for me

You died for me
So I shout for glee
I don't know what I'd do
If I didn't have you!

Did you like it??
Well, there are chores to do before lunch!!
God Bless,
The Bunker Children
