Quick Update

Hello,
The Gurau family arrived at about ten last night. They ate breakfast chili with us this morning, and then they went on a tour of the land. They are going to be here until the 20th. We are enjoying playing with their boy, Julian, who is 14 months old.

The weather has been cold and windy. Mother said the weather here is like a roller coaster. Up,down,up,down.

We are keeping warm and enjoying it here, no matter the weather.

Nice and Sunny Again!!

(From Tuesday the 6th) Hello again! This morning we had breakfast chili with homemade tortillas. It was 32 in the morning but not to breezy, which was nice. It has been getting warmer here, thank goodness.

We went to Smyer (where we used to live) to pack up some things in our old house. Mommy and Mrs. Ante worked hard while we were there, and we brought our pig feeder back for our new pigs! Daddy called it "our little trip to Egypt".

Belle, Tracy's cat, dislocated her left front foot. We don't know how, but Mommy said she probably did it by jumping down from a tree. We splinted it with tounge depressers. She is doing better, and is enoying staying in the motorhome sleeping on Tracy's bed all day, and she has a bowl of food on the floor for only her, no males around. It is so funny...sometimes when Tracy opens the motorhome door, Rocky, Jennifer's cat, tries to run in to visit Belle, not to mention her big bowl of food. Goofy fat cat.

We are excited about our new pigs! We have a slop bucket and Jennifer and Robert love going to slop them. They are so cute, and such an odd red color. We are working on names for them. The ones we had back in Smyer were named Cheeto, Dorito, and Burrito.

The Ante children moved up to their land a while back, and we enjoy going to visit them after our chores are done. They have a big patch of trees, and their chore is to pick up cow patties ( with a shovel, of course) for their compost pile. We help them sometimes. Once we found a deer antler in those trees!

Lots of building has been going on around here lately, and we children have been elected gophers. If you need a hammer, nails, a bottle of water, or anything else, call us!!!

We watched "An American in Paris", a musical movie, last night and we enjoyed it a lot. We have always enjoyed musicals.
