Some Pics For Ya

11/23/06 - 5th Day - After Breakfast. Thanksgiving Day. Here are some pictures from this week on the ranch.

This first picture is of the root cellar. The west wall, which you can see, has been poured in concrete and the roof rafters (2 x 10's) are going up.

This second pic doesn't show much more, except that we have started pouring concrete in the east wall. We hope to be finished with the east wall today. You can also see the excavation for the entrance.

This next pic is of little Sarah Grace as she sorts silverware on the porch. Behind her, through the window out of the front of the cabin and through the screened porch you can see the Sifford's camper and propane grill.

This picture is of the children playing on their new tire swing. Robert is pushing Tracy and Jennifer cannot wait until her turn.

Here Jennifer gets her turn.

Here are the children with their cats.

Well, I hope everyone has a great day, and if you are giving thanks today, do it sincerely and from a full knowledge of the debt owed for our salvation and our peace. May God richly bless you and keep you and bring you into Christ's Kingdom.

I am your servant in Christ Jesus,

Michael Bunker

Michael,

Thanks for the pics.

Your Children seem to be much centered. Opposed to that of the world, who thinks that we have brainwashed our children and stoled their joy. Let’s see: your children do not seem like their mentally unstable or challenged intellectually, they are not confused and on drugs, they are not involved in the world’s follies as many children their age. No, instead they are very well behaved, happy, and surroundby parents that love them. For which one of these does the world condemn us for?

Hey! Maybe we should bring up our children in the world and send them to public schools where they can be taught the mindset of the world, possible sexually assaulted by their teachers, and even shot by other students.

Keep up the example,

Bryan

Hey Bryan, yes it is very interesting. You know, it always used to shock us when people would say... "You have the best behaved children I have ever seen", followed by, "you must be lucky". Then, later we would hear that they would attack us by saying "they must beat them", or "isn't it horrible that they don't get to do Christmas or go to malls". I can tell you that it is a rare time that we go to a restaurant and somebody doesn't interrupt our meal to tell us how shocked they are at watching our family. This isn't an 'every once in awhile' thing, but virtually every time. The last time we went to eat in Santa Anna, a man kept looking over at us, and finally he came over to me and said, "I can see by the way your children act and how they are happy that they have a mommy and daddy who love them and who properly train then, and that you are a true family"... Yet our own families treat us like Koresh and the Manson Family. Strange?

Michael
