Quick Update

11/19/06 - 1st Day - Before Bedtime. Just a quick note to tell you all that we had a very nice Sabbath and Lord's Day fellowship. Things have been a bit tight since Paypal has locked up my account, but we are doing well enough. The weather has been nice and temperate, and I have gotten a lot of reading done. Tomorrow I am going to drive the Siffords up to Abilene so that they can catch a flight to visit some family for Thanksgiving.

Oh, the other day, when we drove into the drive through at the little Santa Anna bank we use, there was a huge, wild Tom turkey in the drive through. When I drove up, the bank teller was calling him through the intercom, and he then hopped right up on the van hood while we were transacting our business. He stayed there on the hood of my van until we pulled out and he flew off. Strange. I bet that never happens in the big city.
