More Fun with Paypal

So, you will notice that on the 21st of November, the BBB asked me to give them the email used with my Paypal account so they could forward it to Paypal. If you will look down to the information provided on the 22nd, I submitted the bunker2k(at)hotmail.com email address to the BBB. So on the 28th, Paypal sends an automated fake apology where they say they can't find my account at my "editor" address! I'm serious! You can't make this stuff up. Irony is sweet, even when it is actually stupidity, theft and carelessness. In a BBB complaint where it is alleged that Paypal doesn't respond properly to complaints and doesn't read their emails, the company responds with an autoreply that shows that they didn't read the complaint! Rich.

So, why is this company still in business? Oh, yeah... because people are fat, lazy and comfortable and Paypal is easy, even when they are robbing you. The account was locked on the 14th, and still I have no access to it, while some pimple-faced San Jose 20-something moron in the complaint department is figuring out the new PS3.

By the way, if you like, write your own comment to Beth at crme@paypal.com to tell her what you think of the way they are treating a simple Christian farmer.

11/21/2006 More info received from the consumer Added info: Pursuant to Paypal freezing this account, I contacted a recent donor to ask her to try to retrieve HER money from Paypal from her end. She contacted Paypal in good faith to attempt to get her money back. Paypal informed her that the money had "already been released" to my account (which was locked up) and that they could not refund the money, but only I could release the money. Then they informed her that her request was going to be upgraded to a "complaint", at which time my account indicated that those funds were frozen for up to 30 days while they performed an "investigation". On my Paypal account there was a button to refund the money, so I clicked on it and was immediately informed "You cannot refund a payment right now because access to your account has been limited." So they have lied to the other lady, posted on my account that her request was because of an "unauthorized charge" and they refuse to respond to my emails in violation of the EFTA.Michael Bunker

Absolutely Ridiculious, I sent the following letter.

Beth,

I have been watching your lack of progress in handling the situation with Mr. Michael Bunker's paypal account. I must say this has left a strong distaste in my mouth for paypal.

It is ashamed that you would freeze the funds of any agrarian christian farmer. If you have done this purposely, shame on you. If you have done this as an over site then still shame on you, for not having your business in order.

If this situation is not resolved promply the you will leave me no choice then cancel my account as well. To be honest this has put a fear in me concerning ever using your service again.

Once again this is a complaint against paypal not Mr. Bunker!
