Hand on the Plow
11/22/06 - 4th Day - After Breakfast. Breakfast of bacon, eggs, potatoes and homemade wheat biscuits.
We continue our work on the root cellar. We are almost finished pouring the concrete for the east wall. We had to stop so that I could put in the PVC pipe for the air intake and outtake, and I will have to put in some conduit for running a bit of electricity down there. We also have most of the rafters up on the west half.
I received the December issue of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine yesterday. It usually has some great articles and pictures. It has a picture on the back cover of a cabin built long ago out of logs, rock and mortar. Things like that give me ideas. We have plenty of crooked trees and rocks here on the land. Maybe we will build me an office at the next Ranchfest! Old Style.
No resolution yet from our Paypal debacle.
We are now thinking about restarting the Isaiah series in January, if the Lord wills. I believe we have finished 32 or 33 parts of Isaiah. Now would be a good time to get caught up on the audio sermons if you plan on staying with us as we move forward in that study. I also hope to start up the Revelation study again soon. I have only posted 4 parts of the Revelation study, but I think we have finished 11. So I will start by uploading the other 7 parts for your study.
Duty, and our diligence in it, is a primary reflection of obedience in the Christian, and is one of the most evident graces to be found in the regenerate man. The converse of Duty is negligence, and it is made most apparant by ready excuses.
